sprained
i spent all weekend away at a timberlake retreat which was interesting. a guy in my youth group sprained his ankle in the middle of the night so we had to take him to the ER. yay for level-headed youth pastors, and also for our wonderful cooks on the trip, who ended up getting out of bed to double as nurse and injured-person-carrier during that period of time. (Before that they also fed us Texas barbecue with Famous Dave’s sauce for supper, which if you ask me is just plain nice.)
luckily i came away from the trip with only sore muscles… i’m so tired though that i can’t remember how i got the sore muscles. in fact i really can’t remember much past last night… i guess that just proves that sleep really does move experiences into your long term memory, cuz i really need sleep and i am really lacking in memory…
i’ll post pictures of the retreat later. for now you can envision the trip yourself by mentally combining teenagers, mud, bruises… and maybe a Bible and guitars.
