About me
My name is Alicia and this is my blog! (Yay!)
Things you need to know about me:
If you want to see me go crazy in a good way, take me shopping. I love shopping! Thrift stores are the best, World Market is a close second.
If you want to see me go crazy in a bad way, pull packing tape off cardboard very slowly. I hate the ripping sound and you will have to rent a rubber room for me to live in for the next two weeks.
I am a neat freak and it most definitely shows. Dirt does not bother me (I love mud btw!), but clutter does. A space must be clean, tidy and comfy for me to be de-stressed and able to work in that environment. This also carries over into my computer habits. If i find a typo, I will fix it. If I can’t fix it, I pull my hair out.
I have very thick dark blonde hair (or at least I did, until I started making typos all the time). My whole family has thick hair and we scare hairdressers on a regular basis.
I love watching a good movie. I hate gross romance movies, but there are a select few good romance flicks out there that I will watch. Pride and Prejudice is one of them. I love action adventure movies the most, with plenty of drama and some good clean comedy mixed in there… Transformers, for example, or maybe National Treasure. I like watching kid movies too - like Madagascar. I can’t pick a favorite movie, I like waaaay too many.
I love art. I don’t know what I’m going to major in or do for a living eventually, but it will undoubtedly involve art or design of some kind. I spend hours on interior design sites and art galleries doing nothing but staring and saving pictures like crazy.
I like music. There are alot of good Christian artists out there with a lot of talent. I can never pick a favorite song or artist, nor can i narrow it down to a top ten. I just like too many things!
I know how to have fun with duct tape (hence the title of this blog). I don’t have the patience to make things like prom dresses out of duct tape like some people have, but I make little things with it and my friends know to count on me for almost always having duct tape in my purse.
I love to think hard. I hate brainteaser puzzles though; they frustrate me. I am most intrigued by ironies of life and by interesting connections and relationships.
I am a homeschooler (WOOT) in her senior year and my parents are the best teachers ever. I also take college classes and love that to death. I love doing school and my favorite course throughout my entire school experience has probably been Art History I, or spelling (back when the Paideia was still in circulation).
Last but not definitely not least, I am also a follower of Jesus Christ and eagerly awaiting His return! God is good and I owe everything to Him.
